On reading the preview for Skreyn's Dirty hungry monsters I had an idea for an adventure.
Maybe you have some thoughts to help to flesh it out.
Against the Dark Druid
The adventure is about a fairy from the Unseelie Court.
The malevolent fairy settled near a small village and started to rampage there, until a druid chased it away deep into the forest.
The fairy blustered and sweared revenge on the druid, the village people - simply on anything.
Per chance he found an old awakened tree, who stood there for a long time.
The tree was awakened in the course of a large battle to help to defend some humans against an incursion.
The tree hadn't any contact with intelligent beings for a long time, for he stands in a remote area.
A plan came up in the evil fairy's mind.
He started to poison the trees mind by telling him stories of how evil the humans have become, and that they have exploited him.
To strenghten his arguments the fairy lay small fires near the and lured adventures and woodcutters to "kill" the old tree.
One day the tree was convinced.
He turned evil himself and sweared dark fealty to evil beings with mighty sorceries at hand.
He turned into an Harrowing Elder.
Now the Fairy started to annoy the village and the druid again, leaving hints of a
dark druid, that claims the land.
The path he prepared pointed to to old forest, where Harrowing Elder stood.
When the druid showed up at the dark druids "glade". he instantly realized that he was
trapped, but it was to late for him and he was killed by the tree and the fairy.
Though he could send an animal messenger to call for help.
A cool job for a band of heroes, isn't it?
