New FR Prestige Class Free Download

Hi all,

Eric Boyd has been kind enough to post a new file of mine made up of 22 Realms-oriented prestige classes (with new feats, equipment, weapons, magic items, animals, deities, templates, and the like as appropriate) that I have used in my Realms campaign, created for the Realms, or in a few cases tweaked to fit the Realms on his website at http://www.ericlboyd.com/dnd/prestige_classes.html. In many cases, they fill gaps that have not yet been filled in the conversion of the previous editions of the game to 3.5E; others are more original. I hope you enjoy them. Comments are welcome. The table of contents is as follows:

Wow.

edit:

I didn't actually read your post closely last night, I did now. Nice work and thanks for sharing your work with us.

A note from intial reading. Shouldn't Battledancer of Chult have Perform (dance) as a requirement? :)

Also I am not a fan of the notes in red text. Real world references kinda ruin it.

Another real world reference is Davey Jone's locker.

You're kidding, aren't you? I think the inclusion of the design notes is one of the things that sets this work apart from so many other fan-produced creations.

Frankly, I would prefer that WotC did something similar with the prestige classes that appear in the Complete... books (and elsewhere) so that we could see why design decisions were made. And there is room for such notes: just drop the USELESS (yes, that's COMPLETELY USELESS) sample stat block that now wastes space in quite a few books.

Thanks, Tom, for freely making available such a really well-designed piece of work.

Gotta agree with Eremite. I'd like to see MORE red notes, not less. And thanks, Tom, for sharing. My personal favorites are the Battledancer and the Gallant.
