Just wanted to know what modules where part of the old 2ed Bloodstone series.

There was "Bloodstone Pass", "Mines of Bloodstone", I don't know the 3rd one, and then the last one was "The throne of Bloodstone".

Does anyone know what the 3rd one was? Where the adventures any good?

I dunno. I thought H2 and H4 were a blast to run and play. They've brought my group so really memorable times. In order they were:

H1: Bloodstone Pass
H2: Mines of Bloodstone
H3: Bloodstone Wars
H4: The Throne of Bloodstone

There was also FR9: Bloodstone Lands, a Forgotten Realms supplement.

How do they push the limits of DnD?

They put you in charge of a country. It was pretty original at the time.

I'm running them right now (starting H2 next game) and I have to say that they don't convert easily to 3E. Throwing ogres and orcs at 15th level characters just doesn't work as well as it did way back when. We're still having fun, but it's a lot of work to convert them to the 3E paradigm.

H3: The Bloodstone Wars had a bunch of "Battlesystem" (AD&D mass-combat/miniatures rules) scenarios and a reworked version of Ed Greenwood's "The Assassin's Run" scenario that originally appeared in Dragon #64 (Aug. 1982). This module is perhaps most noteworthy for being the first module to be officially set in the Forgotten Realms (it was released a couple months before the FR boxed set; H1 and H2 were officially setting-neutral).
