Appearance: Girble is pretty average as far as Halflings go, so he doesn't stand out. Not that that would be easy to do for a Halfling anyway. He is normally found in lay clothes in or near farming communities, helping people with their crops. "Yondalla assures you food," he'll mention, "as long as you work hard for it. Sure, she may test your resolve, but things turn out okay in the end."

Background: Girble comes from a upper-lower class family. They were able to feed themselves but also to have spare to help the people around them. This gave his family respect in their community, but also ensured they would never be wealthy. Not that this bothered anyone, mind you--they enjoyed being able to help their neighbors.

It was this sort of mentalitiy Girble adopted from his parents, and so he decided to set out, in Yondalla's name, to try to help other communities. Girble's parents were sad to see him go, but as the family's crops were raised to help others, so were the children.

[sblock=Items][sblock=Pearl of Power (1st)] This seemingly normal pearl of average size and luster is a potent aid to all spellcasters who prepare spells (clerics, druids, rangers, paladins, and wizards). Once per day on command, a pearl of power enables the possessor to recall any one spell that she had prepared and then cast. The spell is then prepared again, just as if it had not been cast. The spell must be of a particular level, depending on the pearl.
[/sblock][sblock=Strand of Prayer Beads, Lesser]This item appears to be a normal string of prayer beads until the owner casts a divine spell. Once that occurs, the owner instantly knows the powers of the prayer beads and how to activate them. Each strand includes two or more special beads, each with a different magic power.

A lesser strand of prayer beads has a bead of blessing and a bead of healing.

Each special bead can be used once per day, except for the bead of summons, which works only once and then becomes nonmagical. The beads of blessing, smiting, and wind walking function as spell trigger items; the beads of karma and summons can be activated by any character capable of casting divine spells. The owner need not hold or wear the strand of prayer beads in any specific location, as long as he carries it somewhere on his person.

Appearance, Personality, Background

Appearance: Ery is very plain for an elf, and she deliberately sets out to make herself that way. She isn't interested in fashion or being flashy. Her only indulgence is her hair, which she likes to keep clean, slashing parts of her natural red colour with different coloured dyes and bleaches. She has spent alot of time outdoors and her skin is tanned and weathered. Her hands have long, calloused fingers and her nails are short and raggedy from where she chews them when she is nervous. Her eyes are a startilingly bright azure colour and she has long, thick lashes and arched eyebrows. She generally dresses in dark colours.

Personality: Ery is generally in an indifferent to bad mood. She hasn't had many happy times in her life and this shows in her mood and manner. She can soemtimes be rude and is typical of the haughty elf. But this all masks a deep hurt, she lost her parents at a very early age and this has psychologically scarred her, she tends to be withdrawn and inward looking and this is often interpreted as being arrogant.

Background: Ery's parents were killed by bandits when they were travelling between cities, she was abrely 10. She was abducted by the bandits and grew up in their where she went from cleaning and cooking for the dirty men to eventually camp whore when she could no longer fight off the advances.

Eventually she ecaped and has since lived life on the road, travelling form place to place and earning what she needs to survive through theft and the occassional odd job.

Appearance
Donedal Narion is an ordinary looking male dwarf, past the age of majority. He is over 4ft tall with a stocky build.  He has short hair that is yellow and left to hang in a page boy haircut.  He has on standard brown cloak and a chain shirt.  He carries no shield, but has a well used Dwarven waraxe and a longbow slung over his shoulder.  From forehead to chin line on the right side is a notable narrow, straight scar.  The scar is noticeable because there is no beard to cover it.

Personality
Donnybrook Narion is a quiet reserved dwarf.  He is always willing to lend a hand.  His hatred for Drow has festered and he has developed a strong hatred toward them.

He has a badger, but generally it stays close and rides in Donnybrook's back pack.

Background
Donnybrook Narion, was kidnapped by drow when he was a baby.  A group of elves came upon this Drow party and rescued the boy.  The elves raised him and taught him the ways of the woods and about Ehlonna.  Not knowing anything else he took to the Elven ways.  As he grew up it and the adopted son began to question his heritage, it was decided that he should look for his dwarven roots.  He eventually found them and spent time with the dwarfs. [sblock=Decription] WIP[/sblock][sblock=Background]His and his family's fate were sealed long before he could even understand the world around him. His Aunt Tella would say that everything could be traced back to when he and his twin sister Lyly where just children and his younger brother Niles was still in his mother's womb. Back then his family; full of cousins, parents, uncles, aunts, and grandparents; where part of a large two-wagon trade caravan that traveled form town to town and from city to city selling and trading exotic wares to all walks of life. They made good coin, enough for sturdy clothes and good food. It was their first time traveling to Highdale. They caught word that it was a successful trading town with some good trade and decent coin. They stayed there for no more than a few days before the family decided to backup and began to head to the next town. The stop to Highdale was a profitable one and they seemed to be in the God's good favor.

Or so they thought. Two days after leaving Highdale their horses started to come down with a bad fever and soon become violently ill. More than half did not make it through the night and come next morning the rest were too ill to move. The situation was grime and the family was forced to a take whatever they could carry and head back Highdale on foot. When they arrived they would spend the next day arguing with the town Sheriff and the merchant who sold them the feed for their horses. Hoping to get some kind of justice to the wrong that was done to them. But it was of no use. It became deftly apparent that the merchant had paid the Sheriff to ignore their complaints. Realizing the futilely of their situation they used what coin they had to buy new horses to take back to their abandoned caravan in hopes in salvaging whatever they could. As fate would have it nothing but broken barrels, spoiled food and dead horses were there to greet them. All of their wares, clothing, food and personal belongings where gone. Their entire life, their whole existence was whisked away like the black smoke of a late camp fire in the evening's breeze. They had no choice but to head back to Highdale for the last time. After returning the horse for what little coin they could get back his family refocused and moved into the local Halfling settlement. Determined to began their new lives and raise their children the best way they new how. Many of the family members would suspect foul play for years to come but as before they could prove nothing.

Blasco and Lyly have grown stronger and closer ever since the death of his younger brother Niles. Over the years they found that they had a real affinity for knifes and other small sharp objects. It wasn't long before they started a small knife juggling and throwing act at the local pubs. It didn't attract a large crowd but it did bring in an extra silver or two. When a large caravan would come through the town they would sometimes even get few gold pieces. When they were not performing or practicing Blasco usually could find work as either as a bar hand or table cleaning while Lyly worked as a beer wench most of the time. Both of them worked at many of the local pubs, taking odd jobs wherever they could. Though their honest work did bring them in some coin it was their uncanny talent in lightening the pouches of the fellow drunken patrons that brought in the real coin. Together on a busy night they would work the room and help themselves to as much as ten gold pieces sometimes. They didn't do this all the time mind you; attracting too much attention can only lead to bad things. Niles at least taught them that much. However, every now and then the two of them would take advantage of those who lost count of how many tankards of ale they have had and would elevate them of their troublesome purses. He knew that what they where doing was stealing, but he didn't care. To him it was payback for all the jokes and bullying they did to them. Plus he couldn't help but feel that he was slowly filling in the black void that was created when Niles was murdered.

That was almost 15 years ago. And here he is, returning to the very same town that he swore he would never come back to. 'Things have a way of coming full circle...' Aunt Tella would say. But for what?[/sblock][sblock=Stat Block]

Kay'nar Lellorn our resident elf warlock trying to fight off the dreaming

He is a handsome 5'4" blonde haired with green eyes and two thin vetical stripes of blue war piant running down either side of his left eye.

Kay'nar is a native as far as most in the Highdale region are concerned, although he was a wanderer who came into the area back around 70 years ago. He more or less settled down, and later founded an orphanage that periodically takes in youth in need.
