There have been many recent complaints regarding the use of slavery in the Wizards Chat Room RolePlaying Areas. I have investigated several instances and issued warnings (*not all of those warned have been contacted, due to lack of an e-mail in their profile. If you are concerned this may mean you, please check with a WizO).
The stance on the issue of slavery is that it is allowable in the context of role-playing. Many campaign settings make use of this issue; so until the issue reaches more disruptive levels causing WoTC to reconsider, then this is how we'll address it. However, certain aspects are still verboten. There shall be no references to sexual abuse, no references to current day racism and issues, no detailed discussion of torture techniques, and no playing of extensive physical abuse outside of the combat rooms.
