The store has been launched with the help of some of the leading e-publishers in the RPG industry, including products from Bastion Press, Ronin Arts, Goodman Games, Profantasy Software and more.
The EN World GameStore is neatly integrated into EN World to make things as easy for you as possible. You don't need a new account - it's all run off your current EN World account. Not only that, but it also has a whole bunch of features which will help make your shopping easier and more informed:
* A free bookshelf! Well, not an actual wooden one, but a cool, courtesy virtual bookshelf as part of your EN World profile stores every electronic product you've bought here. You can download things from your bookshelf as many times as you like. You can go to a friends' house and download it there, simply by logging in to EN World. You can even look at other peoples' bookshelves (unless they've opted not to allow you to!) Even better, if a product is updated by the publisher, the little "download" button on your bookshelf turns into an "updated" button to let you know there's a new version out!
* Previews, previews, previews! Yep, in a regular bookstore you can grab the book off the shelf and flick through it. Now you can do that online! Every single product has full pages of previews - the front cover, the contents page and two full page excepts from within the book. You can view them in your web browser as a clear, crisp, legible image, so you don't even need to download any inconvenient demo files.
* Recommendations. EN World GameStore is able to use your past purchases to recommend products that you might be interested in.
* Pick n Mix™. We're proud of this one. We're conscious of the fact that the average RPG book is not completely suited to everyones' games. Generally, you tend to use bits of one book, bits of another. Well, our Pick n Mix™ section is designed to do exactly that. The Pick 'n' Mix™ consists of small PDFs, each for the price of $0.49. Each contains, for example, a single monster, an NPC, an item, and so on. The idea is that you you purchase the assorted items you desire and put them together into a binder to make your own "house rules" book. Pick 'n' Mix™ items are all formatted identically (using the provided template), so that your binder will look neat and tidy. Different types of item will have a different colour border (monsters are brown, spells are blue, magic items are gold, and so on). That way, your binder is colour coded neatly. You get to build your own house rules book, and you know that everything in it is something you'll use!
