"Well, then, I suppose we'd better drag what's left of him back to the monastery", Boog said dryly. "And you can answer for your actions as well." Boog set about trying to devise some means of transport for the priest's corpse...something to drag behind the knight's horse, if the man's "honor" didn't extend so far as to carrying a fallen "business associate" on his mount.

Walking over to inspect the body, Julianna is just in time to see the Knight remove a potion from the belt pouch.

Additional inspection reveals that the Cleric's light wooden shield is made of a wood of unusual quality, though the armor and morningstar are nothing special. The Cleric also has two scrolls.

ooc: KB said she was going to retire Karin, so I figure her xp is moot. If it matters, let's say 400 xp total.

Boog glanced glumly at the broken remnant of the bolt that he had fired at the cleric...apparently, it had glanced off his armor and got the worst end of the deal. Spying the knight trying to pilfer the potion, he was outraged. "Hey, he may have been your 'business partner', but we killed him fair and square. 'To the victors go the spoils', and all that." Glowering at the man, he continued, "Tell you what...we'll hold on to it, and if the monks who were holding the tournament that you kidnapped a bystander from agree that it's rightfully yours, we'll give it to you."
