Tenebrynn has trouble accepting Frump, but as far as he can tell the Prince is not under any enchantments of Frump's. Given Tenebrynn's somewhat shakey opinion of the Jara's he will have to let it go. He will accept the appointment of knighthood, but request a tower outside the city. He will largely be away adventuring, but if Ashnar is willing to go in together then he'd be happy to set up a secret 'evil lair' for Ashnar in the tower.

The party is escorted to Edgar Vossinger's office, where they can all sit and discuss their impending knighthood.

The value of the asset offered depends on the length of service, and is as follows:
Rinaldo, Ashnar, Tenebrynn & Nurlan: 1000 gps
Eanos: 800 gps

There would actually only be a limited number of options available, but I'll let you draw them up yourselves for the fun of it. A tower for Tenebrynn might have no income potential. But if you can justify an income potential, I'll go with your suggestion and say it pays 5% per month, collectable between adventures, or during adventures if the adventure winds you up in Orussus or Monemvassia.

The asset could be anywhere in the Crown's domain, including Three Rings. If at any time you wish to cash in, you can simply sell it and collect the cash.

I think we're about done here, actually, but let's hash out the treasure a few more days. I'll go ahead & award XPs here soon.

5% per month should make 50gp per month (40gp for Eanos). This is collectible once per month. Is taking that money the 1st of each real month fine?

Also, you didn't answer. As Rinaldo will be 7th level after that adventure, is it ok to raise Hogarth to level 5th and start him at the start of level 5 for his next adventure, as it is from now on I will take control of him and he can be up to two level lower than me.[/SBLOCK]

Rinaldo can claim an existing magic shop and convert it to his format. He can then collect 50 gps on the 1st of every month.

Yes, go ahead & take over Hogarth. Level him up, buys him equipment...I would think at this point, it is up to the character judges to approve him, but it sounds good to me.

[SBLOCK=OOC]I'd suggest using the mechanism already in place for income per time unit - the job system. That way everything gets logged, you can use the same system if someone is granted a knighthood later on in the game and so on.

Here's a suggestion - if you guys thinks it looks good, I'll officialy propose it together with the merchant captain I mentioned earlier.

Monemvassian Estates
Description: You have been granted land or other estates by the Monemvassian crown. No matter what these are, you earn some money out of it. A Monemvassian knighthood cannot
Requirements: Monemvassian knighthood (granted by the crown only), Estates in Monemvassia worth at least 500gp.
Income: Every week, even when not actively attended, the character earns 1% of the estates value. When attended (ie a character is not on an adventure or on another job), the income is 1.5%.
