Tor leads the way past the now-broken gate. It's hard to be sure, but this section appears to be slightly less filthy. After a couple of hundred more feet Tor enters another chamber. This one much smaller than the last one, about 15 feet in diameter. Five tunnels appear to drain into this chamber in addition to a couple of openings in the ceiling. One leads to the East, one to the West, and three more lead out in a southerly direction.

Fimble McGee, Gnome Illusionist

Fimble walks to each tunnel, glancing down them but not setting foot out of the chamber. Unless something catches his eye (a light down one tunnel, a cleaner tunnel), he says, "What rule were we using again? The Right-hand rule, I believe. Let's head..." he thinks as he turns, "West. That way."

OOC: 5 exits, plus the northern one we just came out of, equals 6 total, correct? (And the ones in the ceiling.)

Tor examines the ceiling carefully, looking for any sign of use and for any mechanism that might open a trap door or drop down a ladder or something.

Gideon keeps a constant lookout for trouble. He keeps his shield ready and sword out, but otherwise has nothing to add. When Fimble mentions their "right hand-rule" he nods in agreement.

Tor mutters something about trap doors in the ceiling screwing up the search pattern. If he doesn't find anything that looks like a place to go upwards from, he'll continue to follow the right hand rule.

The holes in the ceiling are much too small for the group to enter. Tor finds no evidence of trap doors or ladders. Fimble notices nothing down the other tunnels other than the fact that they are a little smaller than the one they used to reach this chamber (the humans will have to hunch over a little).

Tor leads the group into the tunnel heading west. After another couple hundred feet the fighter finds himself staring at another gate. This time the lock is on the other side.
