Gideon steps to flank with Tor, and brings his silvered sword in hard at Drezel's abdomen. When it connects, he tries to yank the blade up through Drezel's sternum, but only manages to pull the blade free. "DIE!", he snarls at Drezel, though it is clear that the fight, and Drezel's bite marks, are taking the fight out of him.

Gideon puts himself in a prime position and deals a heavy blow to the wererat, who's blood is flowing heavily now.

Fimble draws & loads his crossbow after making sure Tor gets the scimitar, but his hurried shot sails high.

Babette continues to waive her dagger, but to no effect.

Drezel steps up to Fimble and tries to catch him in his jaws, but the little mage manages to keep just out of the wererat's reach.

Metrius continues to move Otto into the carriage.

Tor steps behind Drezel and takes a mighty swing with his new blade, but the creature manages to dodge the blow.

Gideon steps after Drezel and takes a swing, but it goes wide.

Fimble dances around Drezel, brandishing his dagger. His antics fair better than his companions in attracting the wererat's notice.

Babette steps up next to Tor, but fails to get Drezel's attention with her meager swipes of her dagger.

Round 25:

Fimble dances away, barely avoiding Drezels ferocious bites. He hops from foot to foot and squeals, "Oo, ooooh!" His nimble fingers slip behind him underneath his cloak, to the dagger sheath on his belt. Out comes the silvered dagger. Fimble, shaking with nervousness, takes a hesitant jab, and then another. And then with a burst of confidence and speed, his dagger comes within an inch of Drezel's toothy maw, and the were-rat is forced to jerk back towards Tor. "Now!" Fimble shouts.

OOC: Made DC 10 assist another check (11, Tor's attack gains +2 (and another +2 for flanking)

ooc: sorry for the delay, been swamped at work with 12-hour days, my last post has been updated to reflect Fimble's action.

round 26 started

Fimble's actions may have proven too effective, and Drezel snaps his jaws around Fimble's arm.

Metrius is almost at the carriage with his burden.

Tor takes advantage of Fimble's distraction with a mighty swing of his scimitar, but somehow Drezel manages to just dodge underneath the blow. He then steps to Drezel's right to give Gideon some room.

Gideon's action

Round 26:

Fimble yelps and yanks his arm back, shaking it vigorously. He doesn't let the pain distract him from his purpose, though. He continues to jab and poke, gaining more and more confidence with each swipe, goading Drezel and distracting the wererat from Tor.
