The mindlink allows rapid communication, and it would be possible to send a thought along it while speaking. The thought would be understood, even if the spoken word was not due to language. It would also be possible for someone who spoke elvish to translate for the rest by sending out thoughts of what they are hearing.

"Find out how much money they want", Boog asked over the Mindlink. He didn't relish being extorted for passage, but felt that would be preferable to another night dealing with huge frost-breathing wolves.

OoC: Sigh. Boog only speaks 3 languages. You'd think I'd check to see if one of them was elven. You'd be wrong.
