Cludge Slatefist, Fighter 2 (HP:15 AC:15)

Ain't no sense in arguin' bout what's done, Cludge calls over his shoulder as he keeps a steady eye on the approaching (and now hopefully unarmed) bandit. Now we gotta figure out what to do with them that's still alive.
He turns to the survivng female bandit.
You, he barks. What were ya thinkin', attackin' honest folk? Ya got yer just desserts this time. Why shouldn' we just be done with yer as the orc-man says?

"Please, let us save this discussion until after we save the wounded?" Lasair suggests, hoping to tread a bit more softly in initial inquiries than Cludge has done, lest any who surrendered decide to rethink that choice.

(OOC: Lasair has +18 to Diplomacy, and she can make that higher, so that will surely be useful.

[SBLOCK=Random Musing]It is only known to a few who chatted with her during the months before her first game, but Lasair actually befriended and reformed a bandit and his group on her travels before arriving in Orussus at level 1, so she will likely try that again. She is more interested in reforming them and helping them decide on self penance than she is at turning them in to these strange and alien Westland jail things that she doesn't quite understand but thinks are rather barbaric and counterproductive.[/SBLOCK]

OOC: Rae, can you hand wave the stabilization till we either get it done or they die? Shadya is a -1 untrained.

OOC: assuming that Kurgahz makes no move to help, and unless or until the second archer changes matters with a hostile action or arriving to assist, Conuld will divide his healing attentions between the man who stabbed him and whichever one Shadya is not trying to save, to give both men a chance of survival.

Kurgahz stands silently by, neither helping nor hindering the actions of those trying to save the dying. He turns to face the end of the bridge to watch for the one other bandit archer.

"Well, seems you'all are determined enough. I suppose we gots enough rope ta tie 'em all up to each other. Maybe the concious ones can carry the unconsious ones ta slow 'em down in case they decide ta run."

The archer on Kurgahz's side of the bridge rushes out as the party begins healing. This archer is also a female. Working quickly under the grim watch of Kurgahz, every single blue-tattooed bandit is stablized. There will be no deaths today, it seems.

Moving everybody to the covered area, the group uses some rope to tie all the bandits together, including the two conscious women. The two disarmed archers are both silent, and tears are streaming down the face of the girl from Cludge's side. And now that the battle is over and the rain is not obscuring their vision, it is clear that these "men" and "women" are really barely old enough to be called adults.

Neither girl speaks Common.

[sblock=Lasair: ]The pregnant girl must still be in the first phases, she is not showing at all. In fact, she might not even know herself that she is carrying a child. Lasair inwardly congratulates herself at the amount of information she picked up from that one, single scream.[/sblock]
