Conuld, human transmuter 1 (AC 12, HP 6/6)
OOC - and I thought Taelythenihel had trouble inspiring trust!
"Ah. Oh," says Conuld, taken aback. "That is a singular creed. It is more common for a faith to teach that those with power should protect the weak, in order to maintain a stable society. When you meet someone stronger than yourself, do they have your blessing to destroy you? Well, I suppose we can all agree that hypocrites are... um... annoying, can't we?"Phoenix8008 said:"My god? Taurusk, the bloody bull is my patron. He bids me to seek out the weak blooded and the hypocrites that preach how much better they are than others...and to destroy them."
"True," says Conuld, "half-orcs seem to find their way in life as individuals, and seem no more likely to associate with one another than with members of other races. Well, perhaps not elves and dwarves, or... gnomes... or halflings." He turns to Shadya. "I was under the impression forty Dragons was the sum total. Which, I must admit, will just cover my expenses, with little to show afterwards except a horse I do not want, a one-fifth share in a healing wand which I hope I will not require the use of, and - and this is more of value to me than the rest - knowledge of a new spell, though perhaps not the one I would have chosen to learn. Still, the chance to see the world is a reward in itself. I suppose. Is there further payment to come, Shadya?" He moves closer to her. "Better answer 'yes' in the hearing of the half-orc," he mutters."My people?" Kurgahz growls, "Ssince when have bands of Half-Orcs been a bother to anyone? As for watching out for each other, I'll do what needs done to serve my own interestss. But, since my interestss now include doin' this job to get paid, you should be fine."
