Agile, "Smart" Fighter Build

because the poster recommended 4th fighter/3rd scout/4th rogue, which offers 7 levels of fighter, 11 levels of skirmish, and 4 levels of sneak attack. Unlike all the good feats, swift ambusher does not help with sneak attack stacking, which makes you go rogue levels, which doesnt have fighter synergy. Daring Outlaw/Daring warrior both add and both synergize with swashbuckler levels, and thus both are good together.

so, 20 levels of Swift Ambusher is good by itself, with a 17 rogue/3 scout build, but it isnt good with just 4 levels of rogue thrown in.

Maybe quote the person you are talking to next time? It was just a little confusing the way it was presented... YMMV

Well, he was answering to an elder post of me ... You're right Seeten, Swift Hunter alone is much better. And I said rog/scout/ranger, not fighter. So not even WS and the other goodness. Nothing as cheesy as the Daring Warrior/Outlaw combo, especially if you allow all these nice alternative Swashbuckler class features in PHB2 and Complete Mage IIRC. You can give up grace for some spell-like abilities per day, our Swashy likes Blur (takes care of these pesky rogues).
