Ashna carefully takes the first door to her right, on the outlook of danger. Realizing an oversight of hers, she quickly looks over her equipment to see if everything seems to be in place.

*Her equipment does still seem to be on her person, though obviously with the whole liquid flame thing, she isn't wearing her normal non-fireproof clothing any more.*

*The first door on the right proves to be a chamber for rituals, summonings, and the like. It is stocked with high-quality reagents and engraved with binding circles and summoning diagrams.*

Ashna takes a quick glance whether anything in particular catches her eyes, then, if nothing does, takes the door that would've be the first to her left when she entered the corridor the first time.

*Other than what she's seen already, nothing much really catches her eye. Taking the door across the hall that would have been the first left, she finds a cosy-looking study, with a table, reclining chair, and a small selection of books, as well as parchment, ink, and pens.*

*The books include interesting titles such as Mastering the Energy of the Cosmos, a landmark text on Evocation if Ashna recalls correctly, as well as several she doesn't recognise, such as Piercing the Veil and Beyond the Mortal Coil. On the table are the books Theories on the Towers and The Power of the Elements.*

If Ashna feels that she can touch the books safely in her state, she'll flick through the two books on the table a bit, but quickly, as she doesn't feel that she has the time for a throughout read. She is mostly interested in author names and chapter titles.

*When Ashna concentrates on handling the book, the flames on her hand dampen such that it is safe to handle the books. Theories on the Towers is written by someone named Humboldt Tyndall. The Power of the Elements is by Nikolai Starmzerung. Chapter titles for the first include 'Known Experimental Results', 'Eldritch Flows and Ley Lines', 'Geomantic and Ecomantic Considerations', and 'The Author's Humble Conjectures'. Chapter titles for the second include 'The Finer Points of Basic Elemental Theory in Review', 'Elemental Discontinuities, Conglomerations, and Second Order Power Matrices', and 'Elemental Channeling and Geocosmospatial Considerations of Secondary and Tertiary Fluxions'.*
