(OOC: Based on her schedule, she was supposed to check on an experiment called 'Elemental Infusion Resonance of Shattered Phylactery Shard', though it isn't clear that she is actually needed for that. It isn't clear how many prepared lava portions still exist. It looks like she's careful about waiting between experiments for everything to normalise before running that one again, since she doesn't want any leftover fluctuations from the previous experiment to influence the next one. Thus, it seems like she creates enough for several days on certain days and then rests in between as the experiment is consecutively performed, with pauses to normalise the surroundings.
There is probably enough fireproofing on some of her mildly-enchanted parchment to survive being carried by Fuosala, but that's a guess based on logic--something that trivial would not make it into the hidden dossier.
By 'read' a person, do you mean Sense Motive? Technically neither Fuosala nor your bog standard mephit has that as a skill, though some of Ashna's mephits do. Fuosala has higher Wisdom than a bog standard mephit, so she'd be better untrained at Sense Motive)
