Campaign Cartographer Maps - Updated 7/17

I've started to work heavily on the mapping for my campaign. I'm using Campaign Cartographer and it does some amazing things.

So I'm going to share the maps.

First up are the ruins of a temple. I printed this as a battle map and it worked fantastically. I've included the original map with NO EFFECTS to demonstrate how CC now handles effects such as drop shadows, transparency, etc.

Comments always welcome. Tell me what you think.

For me, the vivid blue grid is awfully distracting... But that might just be me. My eyes are a bit sensitive to those sorts of things.

Yep, I know what you mean. But I've found that it is the color that prints best for battle maps. The cool thing about CC is that the grid can easily be removed simply by hiding it.

A suggestion - give the grid a little width and add a transparency to it.

Here is the Entrance Floor with a wider/transparent grid. I've also switched the grid to appear between the walls and the floor.

A Battleground.

This one was fun to build. The walls of the city are supposed to be crystalline so there are a lot of areas that appear transparent.

Those look cool. The battlemap type stuff I've seen done with CC looks good but I think the overland and city maps it generates kind of look like poo.

But yeah, make the grid lines a lighter color and probably a bit narrower as well. They take away from the map itself.

Are you serious? Have you seen the stuff that CC3 can do?

The maps attached are examples of the stuff that can be done with CC3.

Examples below:
