Hi,

If you destroy a dragolich's phylactery does that destroy the dragolich?

Or do you have to kill the dragolich and then destroy the phylactery?

Cheers

IIRC, busting a phylactery means the lich can be destroyed. The phylactery was its key to lichdom but not required to remain intact. Without the phylactery, if the typical lich is destroyed, it is destroyed. If the phylactery is intact when you destroy the typical lich, the lich reforms 1d10 days later, unless in that time you managed to destroy that phylactery.

phylactery = Unlimited lives with a 1d10 day respawn delay.

Break the phylactery and the lich has to play by Destroyed = Destroyed.

Thanks for the quick response. Either way they have to defeat the dragolich to destroy it.

Cheers
