Huhm... I had a Direfox somewhere in my books... Wasnt there a werefox adventure (with a nice vixen) that had those stats?

A normal wolf with a pelt that has the GP value of a CR 1 treasure.

on the flip side ... why not use the small dog + dire template from Creature Catalog ... and now that I think about what you asked, I like the idea of just using a wolf with different fluff!
