    The Per-Medja of Dragonhawk was situated just outside Thaliost. It had been there for three centuries, founded by elven monks. There was three schools in the monastery: The Mages, the Arcane Archers and the Dance of Dragonhawk (A fighting style that seems like dancing). During the first occupation of Thaliost the monastery stayed neutral but during the second occupation they began secretly teaching farmers the art of the Dance. And when Thaliost was freed they swore an oath to protect the city if it ever came under siege again. It did, and the forces of the monastery proved their worth in fight but eventually they were defeated. Only few survided and even them only because they were too injured to fight anymore and were carried away by the withdrawing militia. Among them were Jael Shaez and his brother Aaranth. After they recovered Jael and the few other monks who still knew the Dance began teaching a new spec-ops team. But when the call came to take back Thalios Jael instantly volunteered. After the failed missions he was assigned with Aaranth to the 51st Airborne Infantry Platoon, later to be known as the Dead Men. There Jael befriended his brothers-in-arms. At this point Jael was a lieutenant but year later, when their captain Malachi Orlen was killed by a sniper-mage, Jael was promoted to captain of 51st.

    After the war he bacame a hermit. Resigning to live in solitude and practise the meditation techniques of Grand Master Elendur. He was the last living student of the Grand Master and became determined to keep his lifework alive. But by the time he was invited back to the Dead Men, now a special ops team of Royal Eyes, he had realized that as long as the fall of Thaliost burned his mind he could never find inner peace. And so he rejoined his friends.

    Mother of Jael and Aaranth died during the fight of Thaliost but their father Killarin Shaez had left the monastery a few decades earlier to join the Borderknights of Aundair. He is still alive, guarding the wilderness of borderlands and occasionally checking how his sons fare.

    Jael is quiet elf of about 170 years of age. From time to time he can be quite cryptic when talkin (think of zen-monks), but he isn't a master so he isn't yet ready to start teaching the way of Grand Master Elendur. That means that mostly he will try to be understandable .

    Description
    Ghaunder is not a terribly prepossessing figure. Average height, stocky build, dull gray eyes and a weatherbeaten complexion further marred by an unpleasant scar running down the right side of his face from the temple to the corner of his mouth. His black hair is tousled and a little greasy, complimented by a thick and unkempt beard. In his battle gear he looks like any beaten-down grunt, and in civilian clothes he looks somewhat awkward and out of place.

    Retief is a tall, lean man. His pale blue-grey eyes are quite remarkable, 
    and he keeps his hair trimmed short enough that no man can grip it in 
    his hands. He wears a shirt of chain under his tunic, but over that an 
    Aundairian military cloak, woven in blue, hangs, ragged and well-worn.
    He slings an immaculate bow over his shoulder with a quiver hanging 
    off each hip. But perhaps the most peculiar thing about Retief is his 
    gorget. It covers from his collarbone up to his chin and ear to ear, and 
    if one looked closely, they could see the start of a scar beginning at 
    the end of his left jaw and moving down toward his neck.

    Sarelo is a handsome Half-elf of about 40 years old with dark black hair he keeps long enough to flow through the breeze, but short enough to fit in his helmet.  He has a good build and wear very fancy plate-armor with etching along the right arm plates, resembling a dragonmark--a gift from his father.  Those of his troop who have seen him without his armor on know that his right arm is covers with a dragonmark, starting at his wrist and traveling all the way up to his shoulder.  His eyes are peircing blue and he wears a thin goutee that he keeps neatly trimmed.  He rarely wears the helmet that goes with his armor, preferring the wind through his hair when he is flying the company's airship.  His shield is shaped like a dragonhawk flying through the air and his longsword has a matching dragonhawk hilt--these were both gifts from when the unit saved the life of a cousin of the Queen.  Using one of his spells, Sarelo swapped the queen's cousin's position, surrounded by Thranite assassins, with his own, getting her to safety, but putting himself (briefly) in harm's way.

    Konnel most resembles a tall slab of granite, muscular and immovable. His black eyes flash with killing intent, and his clean-shaven face displays a lined map of his many tribulations. His suit of well-worn armor has the symbol of the Sovereign Host emblazoned on the breastplate, and his massive pick perches on his shoulder like a reaper's scythe. Sense of humor? It's there, but it better be one funny joke. Level of tolerance for childish activities: zero. Loyalty to the throne of Aundair? Total. Any Silver Flame adherent he might be willing to share a beer with? Now that's a funny joke.


    Background
    Konnel Kressid, avenging fist of Dol Dorn, was never particularly schooled in the dogma of the Sovereign Host as a child. He was son of a poor cooper in the town of Ghalt during the Last War. The small town was the primary reinforcement and triage center for the Valiant and Vigilant front, and Konnel witnessed the constant ebb and flow of the injured arriving, the weary but stolid reserves departing.

    His parents couldn't dissuade him from enlisting at the first opportunity. Through sheer force of will and personality, Konnel survived the harrowing gauntlet of the Crying Fields time and time again. Every time he leaned on his pick, arms red with gore, alive for a few hours more, he would swear his allegiance and life to the God of Battle, Dol Dorn. He began manifesting the tell-tale holy might of his patron, and he was soon promoted to the rank of sergeant and attached to the 51st Airborne Platoon.

    Life in the 51st was tenuous at the best of times, but the friendships forged were rock strong. Working as a highly trained, mobilized strike force, the 51st were thrown into the worst scenarios: thwarting the Queen's assassination, the confrontation with the Starpeak dragon, the forced conversion slaughter, the Vigilant Last Ditch.

    Their reputation amongst both Aundairian and Thranish forces as the "Dead Men" spread far and wide. A rallying cry for Aundair, a fell omen of imminent death for Thrane. Konnel soon discovered that the Crusading Armies of Thrane could not be negotiated with, could not see reason. Other methods -- hard methods -- became necessary. His mighty pick, forged for him by Arcanix mastersmiths, saw much use in those last days of the war.

    Now, in this fragile era of peace, the 51st has collected decorations and honors, but Konnel craves nothing more than the razing of Flamekeep to the ground. He joined his stalwart comrades of the 51st again when they were chosen by the Royal Eyes to lead the charge on a new, more "subtle" front. Silver blood is silver blood, Konnel thinks. The Dead Men will walk the night again.

She even spent a full year channeling her eldritch might through her fists, hammering foes into oblivion.
    Then came their fateful fight against the mighty dragon Thrallaxzor, in which several members of the company, long-time friends and companions, lost their lives. Eventually the Company was able to drive Thrallaxzor away, but the damage had been done, so many dead...
    Swearing that she would never let such a thing happen again, Gillian underwent a secret ritual she had learned of, transforming herself into a devout servant of good.

    Forge is a massive construct, made of copper and oakwood primary. Additionally he is plated with adamantine. His eyes are made of copper, and remind simple metalic spheres. He uses a pair of grey pants, no shoes, a brown shirt and a cloak that is hooded most of the time. Under the cloak, lies a metal shield, and from his wrist hangs a morning star. He carries a huge backpack, filled with gadgets and all sort of things.


    Background.
    This warforged was build as all the others, but was the first of a kind. "Forge" as the
    51st Airborne named him, was the first warforged artificer ever built.
    He was purchased along with a battalion of standar warforgeds, and delivered to the renown 51st Airborne platoon.
    His name was given to Forge, because he build and craft many of the platoon weapons and armors, along with the repairs of the ship and of his warforged comrades.
    The war was fine for him, until they fight against the mighty dragon Thrallaxzor. All his warforged friends, his only family were slain during the long a dreadful battle. Only Forge was left, disable, and broken, among his fallen peers.
    The others collected his pieces and repair him as best as they could.
    Since that events, Forge understood a great deal of what was to be a living creature. He saw the suffering in the faces of his organic comrades, and started to feel what sorrow was.
    After the end of the war, Forge left to wonder through the land, in search of knowledge and understanding.
    Surprisingly, the gnome they onces helped, found him. He received a letter, and a new journey began.
