    Monte's Verrik from Arcana Unearthed had a bit of that vibe, and it was pretty cool. I guess I wouldn't mind if they were a unified race.

    Changeling: the Dreaming, core book only. And after doing illustrations for D&D (a lot of PS, and most of the Monstrous Manual in later 2e) he became an artist for some children's books like Chronicles of Spiderwick...
