Background story: Thugg was the offspring of a willful coupling of an evil male human and a female orc. Thugg's father left before Thugg was even born, and thus he was raised by his mother. He would have been picked on by the other orcs of the tribe if he hadn't matched their ferocity and exceeded their strength. Had he not been so stupid, Thugg might have rose to be leader of the tribe, but not only was he an idiot, even among orc standards, he was also very easily manipulated by others, and the shaman of the tribe quickly realized Thugg's weakness to enchantment spells. Thugg became the tribe's weapon, being used in raids against nearby villages until a group of adventurers laid waste to his people. Thugg would have likely been killed by them as well if he had not, by sheer chance, managed to avoid the eyes of those the shaman appointed to watch him and wander away a few day's before the incident. Now he has completely forgotten about his past, his feeble intellect having simply moved on from it to his new goal: acquiring shiny things and powerful weapons. The only bit of his past that lingers with him is a subconscious fear and/or hatred of spellcasters, be they divine or arcane (Thugg can't tell the difference anyway). Thugg never trusts them, and even occasionally attacks them on sight.

Notes: Alright, a few things. One, I'm not sure how much gold you wanted us to have with which to buy starting equipment...so I pretty much just got what I thought was reasonable. Tell me if you want me to change it in any way and I will.

Also, yes I managed to find a copy of Unearthed Arcana (online, actually), and I took an additional flaw, since it said you could have up to two...I hope that's acceptable. I know that the flaw I took will make him particularly vulnerable to a number of spells, especially from the enchantment school (see my history, lol) but it makes sense with regard to how I'm planning to play the character (as something of a tool), so I took it. I'll change it if you wish.

I'll also point out, just for the sake of it, that since we have a paladin in the party Thugg is CN now instead of CE.

He cuts a handsome figure, but is somewhat stout; he's never been all that fluid in his motion. He sports a drooping mustache, and keeps himself fairly neat for all of the travelling he does.[/sblock][sblock=Background]Keralt travels on a quest to spread the faith of his god. He doesn't need long-winded speeches; the motto of his order has ever been "Preach constantly; when necessary, use words." His example is the strongest testament he can make to his faith. One of his greatest flaws, in his eyes, is his love of food, which he feels reflects greed on his part; his waistline is a constant reminder of his failure. Part of the reason for his travels is to help rid him of this vice.

While living the hard life of the trails, he is charged with doing good deeds for all he comes across, and fighting the Darkness in the name of the Light. He is respectful of members of other faiths, as long as they are willing to engage in reasonable dialogue about theology.[/sblock]

[sblock=OnlytheStrong]-Technically, Weapon Finesse requires a +1 BAB, but I'll allow it since it would really cramp your character without it.
-You may select one more skill since your character is human.
-Be sure to indicate which maneuvers you have prepared; an asterisk by prepared maneuvers is probably the easiest way to do this.
-Note that because of the Softer Critical Hits variant, the threat range of a short sword is 20/x2.[/sblock]

[sblock=Moonlit_Wolf]-Armor does not stack with defense bonus. Nevertheless it does convert physical damage to nonlethal damage, so you probably still want to wear it.
-Note that because of the Softer Critical Hits variant, the threat ranges on your weapons are reduced. A greatsword threatens for x2 on a 20 and throwing axes do not threaten critical hits.[/sblock]
