Ok the party begins to slowly make their way through the bog. It is deep water up to most of your hips. Those of you who swim, can do so and massively increase your speed. Those of you who can't are limited to 1/4 base land speed.

As the party makes its way slowly across the swamp, thousands of beetles striding across the water at our intrepid heroes, two swarms, going to Siobhan and Stulgar. Biting at them, as they swim.
Damage: Swarming damage; DC 14 Fortitude Save (2d6 =3, 2d6 =5)
3 damage on Siobhan, 5 on Stulgar.

"Lily, could you take care of those with your fire? I've never been sure why, but Druids cannot make any connection with insects, so you are the only one who can harm them."
