Redmod Dumple isn't that bad. Cloyer Bulse the Magsman isn't bad, either.

When I first saw D&D being played, one of the players had a fighter with 2 hp named Sir Runalot.

When he died the player rolled up another fighter who only had 1 hp. He was Sir Runalot's brother, Sir Diealot.

The good ol' days of 3d6 in order and rolling for HP at 1st level.

Nice to know I'm not the only one annoyed by Anagrams (Zygag, Tenser), Male ELF, Medium RARY, and other joke names becoming ingrained into D&D core...

My gaming buddy used to name all of his PC's "Whatever Le Blanc". He had Alcamis Le Blanc, Roland Le Blanc, Steven Le Blanc. They were all related, from the Le Blanc family, and they always had a Nemesis from their rival family: The "Le Black".

In other news...
So far, I have seen five or six people name their first elf PC "Aramil", after the first of the suggested Elf names in the PHB.

I would have thought that their Nemesises (sp?) would be named "Le Noir" :p
