In the morning, it's a while before Gram comes back with news. He looks grim.
"'Mornin', boys," he says to Shadya's brothers, who are making food and eating in the dining area.
Addressing the rest of you, Shadya in particular, he says, "Got some good news: Hayder's up, along wit' the rest of 'em. Everyone 'cept Sabil. Hayder was up barely long enough to feel a short gale on a summer's day before he was out of bed and marching to the council chambers. Helatia went crazy as a typhoon in the desert last night..." Gram sighs and shakes his head.
"Looks like he'll be up there for a while. You can go see 'im, if you like, but he'll be occupied for certain. I only left because I couldn't stand to hear them sayin'..." With a glance at Kurgahz, he stops.
"Righ' then. Sabil will be alive for a while longer at least. I found more scrolls in the library. I'll administer them until we find a cure. Until we find a cure, you 'ear me?" This last bit he says with his head inclined upwards, towards the ceiling.
"Gods above, this is a mess. Your brother's still at the temple, Shadya. His friend is still abed, she took a bad spill, slammed her face right on the Pavilion ground. She'll be fine, I think, but it doesn't stop 'im from worryin'. Go pay 'im a visit."
Having said what he came to say, Gram is about to leave.
OOC: Experience to come. For now, let's just keep trucking, and I'll get to the experience when I'm not about to fall asleep at my keyboard.
