OOC: In case it matters, Cludge had held an action to belt the Orc with the flat of his blade. Though out of initiative that may not matter much.

OOC: The sblocks are silly, I've decided. You may go back and read about the others' actions, if you want. The Lasair/Shadya group is about 2 minutes ahead of the Conuld/Cludge/Kurgahz group.
CKC Group:
As the orc comes forward, Cludge manages to give him a good solid thwack on the head with the flat of his blade. Though the thwack was quite solid, the orc seems completely unfazed and attacks anyway.

LS Group:
OOC: That would be true if Meliana had a clear, straight, 120' path from the southern alley to the northern, and she does not.
Shadya refuses to let the man get away. She follows him through the alleys, and spots him climbing a long, straight staircase, leading up to the rooftops. She follows, hopping stairs two at a time.
Meliana climbs a little faster than Shadya or the man, and makes up some lost time on the staircase.
Up at the top, the man shouts breathlessly, "Help!" Shadya turns to see two men sitting atop an adjacent building, drinking wine out of bottles, with crossbows at their sides. One curses, and both fly into action.
OOC: It's night, and this part of town is not well lit, so this area counts as low-light.
Initiative, please!

Shadya will try to stay near the man she was chasing and attack him if she can.
OOC: If she wins initiative: Shadya's dual attack (Scimitar/Dagger) if she wins initiative (1d20 4=14, 1d6 2 =4, 1d20 2=20, 1d4 1=3), If she looses initiative, Shadya's charges and attacks with her scimitar (1d20 8=21, 1d6 2=8)

A little startled that his initial blow didn't knock the orc down cold, Cludge grits his teeth and tries again. C'mon orkie, ju's go down an' get this over with., he mutters. With tremendous whooshing backswing, he brings Martha down with all the force he can muster...
OOC: To hit: 11, Nonlethal damage 23. Looks like a whiff unless the orc is flat-footed and unarmored.

Taking advantage of his quickness, Cludge bops the orc again on the head, this time with much more force. And this time, the orc falls to the ground, unconscious.
And before it ever really began... Combat over.

The man shouts, "Off your lazy rears, help!" as he reveals a short sword from beneath his robes, which had drawn during the chase. He slashes at Shadya several times, feinting and stabbing, but the run has tired him and he fights poorly.
Lasair...
OOC: Sense motive DC: 12 to beat feint, but even flat-footed, his 12 attack roll doesn't hit Shadya.

The two thugs leap up. One takes his crossbow, loads it, and fires a well-aimed shot at Shadya. It easily pierces her armor (hits AC 21, 4 damage).
The other thug disappears into the building through a trap door, out of sight for the moment.
