Forgive me if this has already been posted; I didn't see it so I thought I'd throw it up here with the tons of other Gygax threads.
Gary's death has hit me hard; harder than I would have expected. I didn't know him personally, but just through his work, as most of you. Yet when I found out about his death on Tuesday, I was wrecked for the rest of the evening. Tears, conflicting emotions, etc. All the threads here have helped me a lot, as have articles like Slate's above. Just thought I'd share it here.
