Tyron "Torn" Duskmeadow

Tyron' grip around his wand tightens as he moves. Pointing his finger at the nearest enemy, he shouts: "Begone!"
[sblock=ooc]Tyron moves back at starting position and uses Shadw Walk (move), curses the nearest enemy (minor) (if not already cursed), and uses Eldritch Blast (standard).

Eldritch Blast (1d20+4=9, 1d10+4=8, 1d6=1)

"In for a penny," Skamos sighs, raising his wand. He inscribes a rune of flame upon the air as he calls upon the power of the Elemental Chaos....

[Sblock=OOC]
I assume that I'm reading this right: Burst 1 means that every square adjacent to the target square is hit, yes?

That being the case, casting Scorching Burst wherever Skamos can hit the greatest number of foes. I'll make multiple attack rolls, just in case -- I'm an optimist, me.

Scorching Burst (1d20+5=11 1d6+5=11 / 1d20+5=24 1d6+5=9 / 1d20+5=14 1d6+5=8 / 1d20+5=16, 1d6+5=7)

Vs. Reflex again.

Armarantan of Borne - Human Cleric - hp 19/24 - AC 16 - Fort 13 - Refl 12 - Will 17

Armarantan's face darkened even further as a dagger slipped past his defenses. The force of the blow hurt, though it was the insult of the unrequired act that caused the most injury. "If you submit and surrender, then we will not be forced to take you down." His voice sounded almost calm. Swinging the mace once more, he held aloft his holy symbol, calling the radiance of his diety into being once more. This time he aimed for one of the closer men around Corrin, one that would not benefit from any cover against the powerful searing light. The blast took the man flat in the chest, slamming him backwards momentarily. "Take courage, Corrin," he called forth, "The power of the sun is behind you!"

[SBLOCK=OOC]OOC: Armarantan uses his standard action to activate his Lance of Faith power. Lance of Faith vs. Reflex: 19. Damage: 9 hp. He grants Corrin a +2 on attack on his next turn against the man struck by Armarantan's power. He remains in his current position, out of melee attack of any of the men. He'll use his move action to shift backwards if required, but remain within 5 squares.

"You bloody cowards!" Corrin yells, reeling from the attacks. He draws his Shorsword as he tries to move into a less precarious position and then strikes against the man who he had originally had started this quarrel with , channeling holy power into the blade.

[sblock=OOC] I don't know how this all works but I think what I want to do is, take a five foot step to get out of being flanked if possible, and then use Holy Strike on Scardey Mcforcedfondling.[/sblock]

Riardon

Riardon recognizes the situation as trouble and, as usual, doesn't have too much to say with words, but rather takes aim with his longbow and lets it speak for him. Riardon takes careful aim at his prey and lets fly a single arrow.

[sblock=ooc]Initiative (1d20+4=13)Activates Hunter's Quarry on the individual who hit Corrin, if he gets taken out, on whichever one is closest. Uses Careful Attack on his target Careful Attack (vs. AC) & Damage (1d20+10=17, 1d10+4+1d8=17) [/sblock]

Skarra's been traveling with her companions for the last few days but she doesn't feel like she knows them and she's been ill at ease.

Now this.
First there was the talking, insults and mockery? Action explodes around her even as she's trying figure out why a human would "prefer sheep" (it's not a very funny joke...)

She's been sitting back on her heels as the action has started.
She hears her mother's voice in her ear "Up on your toes Skarra. Flat on your feet, you'll be ogre meat".

She bolts forward trying to get the front lines.

[sblock=OOC]Try to move forward and engage. Prefer the center of the action to anywhere else, as close to as many foes as possible. Closer to Corrin if you need a tiebreaker.

Initiative = 9
If the bandits block her or keep her from getting near the action she'll Tide of Iron her way into the middle. (i.e. hit -> push them back -> free shift into their space)

Otherwise Cleave on a bandit, ideally one that's positioned close to or attacking someone else (=not Skarra).

In both cases
If she hits she'll use combat challenge (mark enemy -2 to attack an opponent other than her) .

Attack Roll with warax +5 vs AC 1d10+5 (same for both weapons)
Result: Hit AC 14 for 12 Damage[/sblock]

The battle rages on, as the bandits rush Skarra. She parries and blocks most of the strikes, but one to smack her on the back of the head. Dazed, she watches as he dances away, and her strikes are untrue.

However, Skamo's magic is not, as it blasts the bandits with elemental flames. One manages to duck under the table, but the other two get caught in the flames, and their skin turns red from burns.

On the other side of the table, the melee continues to swirl as one of the guards lands a blow upon Armanthan, before being downed by an arrow to the throat. The cleric retaliates against his comrades; his holy magic knocking him off balance, and allowing his diminuitive partner to strike, the guard's flesh sizzling as his leg is struck by paladin's glowing sword.

Enraged by his comrade's death, one of the guards lashes out at Riardon, but the ranger's fey senses serve him well as he dodges the blow. Corrin, meanwhile, is not so lucky, as the guard's blow batters him around inside his armor as the guard uses his size to his advantage.

Meanwhile, the bandits continue their pounding of Skarra, as one smacks her with his mace and circles around behind her, distracting her just enough that the one in front of her manages to get his blow through her defences, as well.

[sblock]Round 2 summary:
Skarra is dazed by the first lot of attacks the bandits make, and takes 7 damage. Amaranthan takes 4 damage from the guards, and is marked. Riardon's blow knocks the guard down to 0 hp, and Amaranthan ceases to be marked. The other guard is bloodied by Amaranthan and Corrin's attacks, but standing. You dealt seven damage to him; please roll your own dice in the future, Dire Lemming. Skamos's fire attack hits two of the bandits (and misses a third); the eldritch blast by Tyron misses. A note for those of you with area effects: you only roll the damage once.

Round 3, enemies' turn:
Skarra is again hit by the bandits' attacks, but is not dazed, as that was an encounter power. One of the bandits shifts into a flanking position, and this allows a second bandit to hit. She takes a total of 12 damage. Corrin, meanwhile, is struck by the remaining guard for 6 damage. It is now your turn. Round 3 map attached.[/sblock]

Tyron's eldritch blast streaks out from his fingers, and bites into the flesh of the bandit, who staggers under the pain from the blow and his burns.

[sblock=OOC]He's bloodied, now.[/sblock]

Armarantan of Borne - Human Cleric - hp 15/24 - AC 16 - Fort 13 - Refl 12 - Will 17

The humans were worthy opponents, and another blow managed to strike the dour cleric of the sun god. "Very well," he remarked sternly. He raised the hand that held his holy symbol, and with a quick prayer to his god, let a soft and healing light fall on the small paladin. "Fight well, Corrin," he said by way of encouragement. Then her turned to the humans around Skarra. "Your actions are folly, and so you should pay the price for your ill thinking." The power of his god welled up inside him, and a brilliant radiant burst of light slammed into the guard near Skarra, burning the man badly. "The sun god is with us, Skarra," he said loudly, as he moved back and away from the main battle.

[SBLOCK=OOC]OOC: Armarantan will use a minor action to activate Healing Word on Corrin, allowing him to spend a healing surge and gain an additional 7 hp. He will then activate his Channel Divinity: Power of Amaunator encounter power as a free action, and use his Lance of Faith power to attack the guard near Skarra. Lance of Faith with Power of Amaunator vs. Reflex: 15. Damage: 19 hp. This grants Skarra a +2 power bonus to attack against the same guard if it's still standing. He then uses his move action to shift 1 square to the left.
