Repeating last post of preceding thread, for continuity's sake:

Mattie Bulgar: "Don't you fret none, Constable Mameir, I'll take charge of your dinner and keep it nice and hot for you. Just come on back when you can, lad. And, of course, I'll do the same for any of you other hungry lads that want to go with him, I know that keeping the peace in the 14th takes precedence over trivial things like eating!"

SoulFetter grabs another stave, takes a swig of beer, and looks longingly at the staves remaining on the table as he stands and prepares to leave.

"I'll go along as well - I suppose a walk would do me good after this excellent meal!"
