This is a sister thread to the original creature contributions. Basically, in this we aren't concerned with putting together a whole monster. Instead, this is about creating new and exciting abilities for monsters to use. Feel free to include as much flavor as you like or simply include the mechanics.
malice
Creature receives +2 to attack rolls against the last creature to attack it.
Root (at-will, minor)
While rooted, the creature is immobilized. It gains a +2 to all defenses, and any forced movement upon the creature is reduced by 2 squares. The creature can unroot itself with a minor action.
Copycat (encounter, immediate reaction)
Triggered after an attack is made.
The creature can make an identical attack from the one just made. Its attack bonus is identical to the original attacker, it does the same damage, and it has the same effect.
Entropic Resistance (encounter, minor)
The creature gains resistance 10 to one of the following types: fire, cold, elec, radiant, necro, poison. The resistance type is randomly determined whenever the creature uses the ability.
