Bardic Music feat, "Inspired Defense"

After a brief discussion in the Rules thread, I wanted to pass along this idea for a bard feat.
I'd like to know more opinions if it's balanced or not.

The feat "Inspired Defense" would allow a Bard to expend 1 daily use of their Bardic Music ability and give the Bard's allies a morale bonus to AC. This would otherwise work as Inspire Courage in all other respects.

The feat's only pre-req is the use of the Bardic Music ability.

Thoughts?

We have been using it for a while now. There is nothng unbalancing about it. In fact, I got rid of bard spells and just added songs and at mid-way through the bard progression added an ability that allowed them to entwine two songs together.
One song adds to their hit bonus another to damage another to AC another to fear saves another to reflex saves, etc. Really it is just the way the bard should be.
