I've readt that numerous people use quest cards or some sort of form like that. Players can see what they still have to do and it can help them an bit in the roleplaying bit.

I was thinking about handing out an quest card when they find someone that has an quest, the card say's what level they should be when going on the quest, this way they see when they can do the quest..

Anyone got some pointers or tips they can give?

No real tips, but I would definitely include a free text-field where your players can write down notes of their own.

Yeah gonna look for cards around the size of half an A4..

Not necessary. You could use index cards. Quest information (Quest giver, location, accepted reward, goals, possible location of target, default information) on the front, free writing area on the back.
