With the spectacular sales of Unorthodox Wizards and the just-released Video Game Magic Items, we are confident that the 3.5e line will continue to be a financial success. Wizards of the Coast is forcing us to remove the "d20" logo from all our products, so how do we tell our loyal fans that new products are compatible with 3.5e? That's where LPJ's OGL 3.5 System Compatible Logo comes in. With this important logo, you will know right away that our products are full compatible with the RPG system that you have known and loved for 10 years now.

Unorthodox Wizards and Video Game Magic Items are using this fantastic new logo now, and we fully intend to use it for all future products.

*note: all older The Le Games products will be replace the existing "d20" logo with the new OGL 3.5 System Compatible Logo by the end of the year.

[imager]http://www.rpgnow.com/images/127/56798.gif[/imager]The OGL 3.5 System Compatible Logo is available for free (get it now)! From the main page:

"With all the recent changes due to the release of 4e, the GSL and the OGL, we here at Louis Porter Jr. Design have decided to create an all new OGL 3.5 logo which can be used by any and all 3rd party publisher, completely and absolutely free of charge, with any of their products that initial had the d20 logo or was OGL created material. The reason for this new OGL 3.5 logo; beyond the obvious loss of the use of the d20 logo; is to unify those companies who still wish to support the 3.5 OGL rule set.

This logo easily brands and makes d20 and OGL material easy to identify with this logo so people can tell on sight what gaming system they are supporting. The initial concept of the OGL was to make the gaming industry stronger by making it possible for more people to create and make products to support the concepts of the OGL. With the changes in 4e and the GSL, and the recent comments by Linae Foster and Scott Rouse of that you can only make products for either the OGL or the new GSL, this is no longer the case. And with those actions have caused the creation of this new OGL 3.5 logo.

"This logo has bee created in several graphic formats including Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Illustrator EPS, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop JPEG and TIFF. Each of these formats comes with three different versions: color, Grayscale and Black and White. "

First off The Le Games is one the right track. I hope that many other publishers adopt this logo too. Secondly, I'm confused by Charke's comment. The logo will get broken? Is this a joking reference to a The Le Games product, a slur against The Le Games, or what? Perhaps it's too early on a Saturday for me, but I just don't 'get it'.

I believe he means Broken: The Memory of Solaris, a The Le Games product that Mark Charke wrote. ;)

Yes, I was just plugging Broken. I'm working on a couple of Broken products right now. I had just read the 4th liscense and had realized I need to remove the d20 logos and replace them with something. With The Le's adoption of the LJP logo, my problem is over.
