The skinny, for anyone who doesn't know:
A 13th level party of heroes, famous throughout Greyhawk, are responsible for saving life as people on Oerth know it. They defeated the force behind the Temple of Elemental Evil's resurgence, they've conquered an army of heretics claiming to do Heironeous' work.
Just recently, they walked into an elder white dragon's lair, and lost the battle. The dragon followed them home and destroyed Verbobonc, where they'd lived... but left them, unharmed, to draw the hate and ire of the townsfolk. The party separated in grief and hopelessness.
The game begins again on September 28th. Until then, a series of interlude posts will be written, to bridge the years between the dragon's attack and the return of the party, who are now known as the Knights of Spellforge Keep.
