Encounter Critical-Encounter in the Forbidden Wastes

You travels have brought you to the small village of Rowrshyakk, an outpost on the southern tip of the Wooky Freeholds. Here, nestled beneath the canopy of the jungle flora, the village acts as a safe way station for traders and travellers of all stripes.

Unlike many Wooky settlements, Rowrshyakk is not a tree city, for benefit of the more terrestrial inclined of Vanth's races. Likewise, as an outpost, it has a high proportion of male residents and visitors, much to the disappointment of the aforementioned residents and visitors.

As you each relax in Mango Pete's, a small dusty tavern, you notice a commotion outside in the village's square. There surrounded by Klengon sword sells, Dwarven prospectors, and rifle wielding Wooky hunters, you spy two slight lithe figures-females!

The few other patrons of the tavern quickly spill outside and from your vantage point you can see the source of the disturbance. For beneath long floor length, red hooded capes, the two females wear chain mail bikinis and nervous smiles.

A cacophony of catcalls and whistles rise up and the faces of the two females contort with annoyance and confusion. Obviously trapped and surrounded by a dozen male beings, the situation could turn ugly quickly (or entertaining, depending on your point of view.)

Shall we be heroes, or watch for a bit? Buck puts his feet flat on the floor and lowers his glass of whiskey. "Hmm...what have we here, gentlemen?"

"RRRnnnhh?" chuffs the the Cave Wooky Tictac. He checks the bar mirror, his antennae combing through already perfectly styled auburn locks, then slides from the stool and flexes his shoulders. He is four feet tall, but through great feats of scientific conditioning he packs seven and a half feet of muscle.

He tosses a gold credit on the bar, then another. One for the bar stool he intends to break over the heads of the rabble, and another for the beer he'll have afterwards. The women, bah! Too puny. But battle, battle is good. With a hoot rising into a basso profundo roar he barrels outside.

Buck cracks a grin when he sees the Wook jump into action. He slowly turns over the empty shot glass onto the tabletop. He rises with a sigh, his hand checking the flap on his holster. Pushing past some of the gawking patrons, he strides towards the door. "Here we go again!", he smiles and saunters towards the situation.

Once outside Buck yells, "Ladies! We've been wondering when you'd get here! We've been waiting for you", and he's going to keep his hand on his holster flap as he walks forward (trying to get some of this rabble to think they are supposed to be meeting our party...maybe back some of 'em off, if Buck and Tic Tac can make a big enough scene).
