What entry is this under?

I am not sure how I should categorize these on the index. Like the Chasme, I'd like it to be spelled out, but you placed it in an entry for a lower level monster (9th level, Whisper demon). So if I state the level, it's not linked to the level-appropriate thread, but the level of the first monster in the entry.

It's under the (1st-level) "Spider" entry... hope that helps!

Chasme is spelled out because it's under "Demon," but acid spiders are under "Spider" on my hard drive, so I didn't think to note it.

STEEL PREDATOR

Wandering a series of strange metal cubes that float in the Astral Sea, crashing into each other, steel predators are extremely dangerous beasts. Their name comes from their diet- they devour metal, preferring weapons and armor. Resembling an iron-muscled great cat, a steel predator is quite dangerous. Despite its deafness, a steel predator’s sense of smell is sufficient to grant it blindsight.

STEEL PREDATOR POUNCER--- Level 16 Skirmisher

If it has three wear points, the item is destroyed. If the weapon, shield or armor is magic, it can receive one additional wear point without harm per tier.

[Melee] Pounce (standard; at will): The steel predator shifts 6 and makes a bite attack. If it hits, it makes a followup rake attack: +19 vs. AC; 2d6+5 damage.

Steel predators look good. I like that Grating Growl does not work on deafened creatures, when the Predators can deafen; it requires a bit of tactical consideration on the predators' part when to use their abilities.

Bristles (immediate reaction; when hit by a melee attack) Acid: +17 vs. Reflex; 1d10+7 acid damage and ongoing 5 acid damage (save ends).
What's the frequency of this power? At will, recharge, what?

I never liked the idea that deaf people/creatures can't be hurt by sound. The concussion energy still remains whether you hear it or not. How about deaf creatures take 1/4 concussion damage?
