A pair of magic weapons

Blazeblade
Blazeblade is a longsword made of brightly polished steel, with
elaborate flame-styled leafing of gold and copper. It grants the
wielder fire resistance 2, and on the first round of combat of any
encounter, at the wielder's option, the blade will automatically cast
a burning hands spell as a sixth-level sorcerer on the wielder,
requiring no action on the wielder's behalf. The weapon is otherwise a
+1 flaming longsword.

Moderate evocation; CL 6th; Craft Magic Arms and Armor, burning hands,
endure elements; Price 16,315 gp; Cost to Create 8,315 gp + 640 XP.

First Strike
First Strike appears as a well-crafted rapier made of flexible steel.
It grants the wielder a +2 luck bonus on initiative rolls, and on the
first round of combat of any encounter, the rapier will automatically
cast a true strike spell as a sixth-level sorcerer on the wielder,
requiring no action on the wielder's behalf. The weapon is otherwise a
+2 rapier.

Moderate divination; CL 6th; Craft Magic Arms and Armor, true strike;
Price 16,320 gp; Cost to Create 8,320 gp + 640 XP.

Same basic idea, same basic pricing formula. Opinionate?

You may wanna reword that.

First Strike

Deadly in the hands of a sneak attacker. But that was probably the point, right?

Did you account for the free, or maybe swift, action use in the pricing? I'm tempted to say they should just be priced as +3 weapons but I'm notoriously ham-fisted when it comes to simplifying magic item creation.

Is this a cursed item?
How does a Burning hands on wielder work?
5d4 fire damage, 15 foot cone shaped burst...how does it even use it on wielder?

Why not a Fireball centered on weilder?

Or to keep the spell 1st: Ice Dagger but fire damage. Splash damage is 1.
Or a 2nd level spell: Scorch: 30 foot line, 1d8 per 2 caster level (So the example would deal 3d8) to each creature it hits, Ref 1/2. Kinda like a Fire-based lightnig bolt. Centered on wielder can work.

Seems fine since only once/encounter. Though should the Init bonus make a little higher in price by 1000?
