A faded path wound through the brush below a thick canopy of trees. The sky was blotted out almost completely; only minute pinpoints of light found their way through the dense vegetation and shone down like a hundred tiny rays lighting up the woodland floor.

“Ch’kluuhl! Meit ssna’ahangt! Ghaarsstkh!” The voice was high-pitched and yappy, and the consonants dragged on for too long. It was altogether an irksome combination, the kind of noise that made your spine cringe.

And it was wholly evil.

“Gignsna’atu! Ma’arkhulmnak!” There was no mistaking the command as the clawed finger pointed out the targets, and the three bloodthirsty hyenas gave chase. The commander, himself a dog-faced biped, made for the shrubbery just off the path… and just out of sight.

I think I've given you plenty of room to move on this map; please try to refrain from moving or pushing enemies off of it... especially to the south.
