Selinia moves in and swings her sword at the hyena, but hits the dirt instead.

The hyena's handler steps up and assaults Selenia with its halberd, but it glances harmlessly off her armor.

The other human moves toward Khemnos and Selenia, but stops short and stabs at the trees, putting Jarl on the ground in a bad way.*

On seeing the demon, Erin feels a cold knot clench in the pit of her stomach. What godsforsaken place had the doorway taken them to, where demons openly walked among men?

She lifts the small crystalline ball in her hand and concentrates. Blue-white light coruscates around it, then lances out towards the demon, tearing through the bushes and branches in a blast of pure arcane energy!

* Jarl failed a stealth check, takes 15 damage, and is knocked prone.

I stopped on Initiative 12 to allow Oni to act. Since Midnight's actions won't affect anything, she's already acted. So Jarl, the demon, and Khemnos are the only ones left to act this round.

Jarl glared at the human that had upended him, his fiery gaze carrying a supernatural weight.

Ooo, a pox on ya!

He clambered back to his feat with dwarven grace, keeping his carved black rod pointed at the attacker.

Ya'll pay for that ya will.

A crackle like black lightning lept from the end of the rod.

Khemnos selects the hyena for the Raven Queen's next visitor, then swings his blade at the animal. The sword strikes true with a BOOM! of thunder, and the attack bolsters the tiefling.

NOTICE!

This game, as well as every other game that I DM, will be on hiatus until at least January 5th, as I will be vacationing in New Orleans from Christmas day until after New Years. I may be able to handle some things from there, but most assuredly anything requiring a map will have to wait until I get home.

Jarl hops back up to his feet and unleashes his eldritch might on the human.

After getting slammed by her magic, the evistro spots Erin and charges her, and opens a series of gashes on her face with its sharp claws.

Khemnos strikes the hyena hard, nearly knocking it off its feet with the blow.

The hyena returns the attack with a well-placed bite, tearing a large chunk of flesh from Khemnos's arm.

Due to my laziness it appears that we've lost a few players in this game.

As I stated in the recruiting thread, I'm currently DMing two other games in addition to this one, and if the time comes to drop any of them, this would be the one.

Unfortunately I quite liked the concept of this game, and I think it would do well at another time and place. Unfortunately, now is not that time.

I apologize to the players remaining here. Should I decide to restart this game in the future, you all will be first on the list.
