[sblock=surprise round actions summary]

Here's what I've got. Correct me if I'm wrong. As you can see, there's a few bits missing, most importantly input from Merenwen and Kilbeth. See comments below.

Vashik
* initiative: 18
* starting position: ?
* surprise round action: ?
* comment: If you want to hit Hoofchew with acid arrow, you'll have line of sight after the doors are open from CC16, among other squares. He'll have cover from the bar, but you'll have combat advantage.
Kruk
* initiative: 14
* starting position: BB12
* surprise round action: break down door, str check 22 succeeds
Balth
* initiative: 18
* starting position: EE12
* SRA: twin strike vs. O5, hits AC 21 and 24 for 1 and 2 damage.
Kilbeth
* initiative: ?
* starting position: ?
* surprise round: ?
Cross
* initiative: 13
* starting position: AA12
* surprise round action: move to W12 and stealth check 18 (includes -2 for movement)
* comment: A couple of things. First, like it or not (I don't), stealth errata are in effect for L4W, which means you'll need improved cover or total concealment for stealth. The bar will give you cover from the people behind it; to get total cover you'd need to do something like dropping prone. Even that won't hide you from the rest of the orcs in the room who aren't behind the bar. Second, you may have noticed that so far no one else has actually entered the room yet. The folks breaking down the door won't be able to move in very far. Do you really want to be first through the door? If you want to, you can; I just want to make sure you know what you're doing.

Les
* initiative: ?
* starting position: D6
* surprise round: break down front door, str check 11 fails
* comment: You realize that as of now, you're alone in the front of the building, yes?
Merenwen
* initiative: ?
* starting position: ?
* surprise round: ?
Raiyek
* initiative: 19
* starting position: BB13
* surprise round: assist with str check to break down door, 1d20+3=9, fail
Larinza
* initiative: 18
* starting position: BB11
* surprise round action: ?

I'm loath to NPC anyone in the surprise round, since the initial positions at least will affect the rest of the fight. On the other hand, I won't wait forever. If you guys want to suggest tactics for Meren and Kilbeth, that would be better than me making something up, should we not hear from them soon.

OOC: I suppose this may count as meta-gaming, and you are welcome to veto this... however, my original "surprise round" action plan was based on the belief that other people would be entering the room before me. Since it doesn't look like anyone's going in yet, and its a bad idea for the wizard to be the "front line defender"... I suppose I would like to change my action to firing a magic missle at O5 from EE13. If you're alright with that signifigant change then...
[sblock=magic missle]1d20+4(vs Reflex)=6, Roll Lookup... I suppose there's not much reason to roll for damage after that, but just in case...
2d4+4=8, Roll Lookup [/sblock]
...if you're not okay with the change, then I'll be delaying my action to go in (as I had originally planned) after the defenders.

[sblock=ooc]Yes cc16 sounds about right for where I meant to be sorry for omitting that. As for my surprise round action I'll fire my acid arrow at Hoofchew from cc16. Although my roll for attack did not include the +2 modifier for combat advantage.[/sblock]

Well, I had -though- we were going to split up into two groups... But it looks like everyone wants to go in through one door. *so confused* So I'm not sure what to do...I guess I just move around to the other side. Warlord's are useless by themselves....

Standard: Nothing?
Move: Move to D12

Les realizes that none of her allies followed and frowns. Really? I suppose charging everyone through one door is a possibility. But with so many melee fighters we are going to be very cramped for space. This doesn't seem to be very effective.

The gith moves away from the door and hesitates, unsure what to do now that she's been abandoned. She twirls her chain in an ineffective circle around herself and looks around at the nearby terrain. Seeing nothing but open street, she curses and hopes that the archers above don't choose her as a target.

[SBLOCK=OOC]Maybe things ar enot done this way but it seems to me we could save a lot of time if perhaps in the future one person kind of decides/puts forward an action plan and everyone else says ya or nay. Not much use now but a thought nonetheless.[/sblock]

I suggest that Meren and Kibeth are with Les at the other door doing strength checks to gain access that way. No use having everyone trying to gain access through one door as Les commented about in an earlier post.

[sblock=ooc]So so sorry, I just got back from college for break and the past few days have been a whirlwind of old/new friends and scandalous developments ;). Kilbeth will place himself below Les and support her entry through the left-side door.

Init: 1d20+3=18
Standard action: try to break the door down: 1d20+4=21[/sblock]
Without a word, Kilbeth hefts his swords and smashes Kristen and Clardenhelt into the doors.
