This is what Martial Power looks like

When I saw this video, after a small bit of mourning at the effects of my sedentary lifestyle on my physique, I thought now THIS is what a Martially Powered individual looks like. What do you guys think? Anyone else have some movies of a good example of some Martial Exploits?

I'm pretty sure some of those moves in the OP are faked. This guy's all real. I like to trot him out whenever somebody tries to give me some "pirates are better tha ninjas" malarky. This is the kind of stuff I picture a 4e rogue trained in Acrobatics doing.

Yah, looks real. However, I would be surprised if they were not practiced and staged - like Jackie Chan. Doing that stuff in a controlled situation and doing it in combat in an unfamiliar place are different things.

Which is not to say it isn't darned impressive for real humans :)

Oh, of course. Still, I think it's safe to say that Jackie Chan is cooler than me. Which, incidentally, is something I never thought I'd have to admit to.

Yes, to be clear the first vid I posted has some editing. People who practice parkour, on the other hand, are really just badasses.

Thanks for reminding me about the practice Kinneus; I've always found it quite amazing.

Also, Jackie Chan could totally wipe the floor with me. Just so we're clear. ;)

that was lovely, it looks like the things I used to do. It just didn't have a name at the time. Less flipping, just as much jumping off of things with controlled roll landings, even occasionally scaling buildings.
I think I was at a peak in Jr High. I'm pretty sure my tolerance for pain has decreased and my caution has increased so as make it impossible now, but boy does it look like fun.
