So for recommendations in the future:

1) No action points, not a good mechanic in PvP IMO
2) Higher Level -more HP will allow a PC to survive a Daily.
3) Same day fights - This will force the PC to decide whether to blow his load in the first fight to guarentee (relatively speaking) a chance in the next round, but then be at a disadvantage there.

Just some quick thoughts based on the battle with IG.

I don't mind doing another match, though I'll throw out the proposal of a gentleman's agreement to refrain from using an action point. Otherwise it seems that you might as well just roll initiative and declare a winner.

I'll confess, though - you all are obviously more up on your 4e than I am, because the thought of using an action point for an extra round of damage didn't even occur to me until I read of Oni's win...

I'm game for another match, though I won't be heartbroken if IG doesn't feel like it. I haven't started my other thing yet, but not for any particularly good reason. I just haven't typed the post yet.

I'm fine with agreeing not to use an AP to attack twice in a turn. Just to clarify, that still leaves the option of using an AP for other non-attack actions, yes?
