Hard times have descended on Las Vegas as a result of the ongoing financial collapse in the United States. With many people holding onto their hard earned cash, it is not surprising to hear that at least one casino has declared bankruptcy.

On the far end of the Vegas Strip stands a lone hotel casino, a doomed building destined for demolition, and rigged to explode. This is the scene of the last and final battle of the Women's Ultimate Death Match's first round.

The women in this round will be locked into the casino and can only exit once there are two survivors remaining.

Weapons: Knives, broken glass, iron bars.

YOU HAVE TWO VOTES.... Make them count.

Feel free to discuss the hows and why's of this match.

IF this poll ends in a tie, the first person to respond after the polls are closed gets place a tie breaking vote.

I only voted for River. I couldn't figure out who the other winner would be and I should be getting back to work. My bet would be either Lara Croft or Catwoman though.

Trinity in real life without her Matrix moves... I just can't picture her doing much at all compared to all the others.

Amanda Darieux is an immortal with 1000+ years of combat experience, she'll probably be ok.

The other one goes to Catwoman since most of the other contestants got their powers pulled except Amanda. Catwoman can hang in the DC universe she'll do fine here.

That's true, but a highlander's immortality means nothing in the long run since they never regenerate lost limbs or do anything special until they become the last surviving immortal. All someone has to do is "kill her" then chop off her head before she recovers from "death."

Well she's by no means invincible, but if the others don't know how to kill her they would probably have trouble making it stick without some excessive overkill. It also means she's going to be much harder to wear down since most injuries aren't going to accumulate over the long run. Combine that with having been around so long and you've got a real winner. :)

Actually, I don't think thats entirely true. I think I remember an episode from Highlander where Duncan lost his hand and it did regenerate.
