Here's a concept that caught my attention while going through my books recently.
At 4th level a Duskblade gains the Armored Mage (Medium) class feature.
Glassteel aromor counts as one weight category less and is considered masterwork (just w/o the -1 ACP bonus).
Here's my thinking; by 7th level a character 19000 gp of wealth. If I were to parley 13,650 of that into Glassteel Full Plate Armor, the armor would have the following qualities:
+8 AC
Dex Bonus +3
ACP -5
ASF 25% (Of course 4th level Duskblade nixes this)
Considered Medium Armor for Glassteel construction
Speed 20 ft.
Can run quadruple speed.
Damn a duskblade with this armor would be be doing fairly well for herself, no? Am I wrong to want to do this or is this idea just broken?
