Heh, I had a NPC based on this guy. He convinced the party to try and assassinate the local lord, who was a former PC advanced to 16th level (the party was 4-5). Obviously, the assassination failed because they couldn't even den't his HP. After a flurry of subdual chaos, everybody was locked up in the castle dungeons.

They managed to pick the lock with a piece of straw and flee with equipment looted from a couple of guards to the site of a town that had been razed several years earlier. There they got captured by the hobgoblins the NPC worked for, and he was tortured to death. Then we decided to play CoC.

Wow. I was stupified. If that isn't the most pathetic thing I have ever seen in my life, then...well, I don't know what to say. Either this is a really funny joke site, or someone is really trying to compensate for some shortcomings.
