The Upcoming Adventures thread

Well from what I gather Krav is a Bravura Warlord, which is more focused on leading and inspiring their comrades in battle, not as much as a healing machine. That is where Xander comes into the picture. Xander is a pacifist shielding healer. Keeping those who would bring Maros greater glory in battle is his purpose in life.

Question - Are Hybrid characters allowed? I don't always keep up on the rules here but something about Hybrids has my DM senses tingling.

Either way Xander can't wait for this strange crew that has gathered in the tavern to go out and bring forth the glory of a good battle to please Maros.

Hybrids are fine. I actually find them a bit weaker overall than straight classes with a few exceptions (swordmage esp.)

Well like I said, you should contact the DM (johnmeier1) and ask him if he'd take you. I am not sure how many other adventure opportunities there are out there for a 5th level character right now.

Well, in that case I will probably go for the leader/controller hybrid as a support role. As between 2 1/2 leaders we should have more than enough healing even if Krav and I are not built for it so much. But we don't have a controller, so I will cover that.

Yeah Krav is a Bravura Warlord so there is a good chance that he'll increase damage done both ways. He could pull it off alone but a second leader and a half would be lovely.

Is it at all likely that a DM prepared to run a level 1 campaign will come along to cater for the hordes of angry level ones loitoring in the bar?

P.S I will go along and write up the psion/cleric character, to provide a controller which is i am not mistaken means.

2 1/2 leaders
1 defender
1 striker

Right, time to get off my ass and submit that adventure proposal, then. Best to start with level-ones anyway, right? It'll be something of a typical dungeon-crawl, with a bit of escort quest and the arcane mixed in. No particular skills required.

Is it submitted already? If so there is a full 1st level party waiting to go.

Also to note there is now also Ram Tiger and Kavac who I believe are level 2 also waiting for an adventure.

Hi, great looking forward to it- my character is now finished (no more changes) ready, it is not approved yet. But it is in the cue for approval, and it just means no XP for me

. Not that I am overall bothered, I can become a twink right...
