Round 8
"Grakk!" shouts Morvannon as the goliath falls twitching.
"You'd better be right, girl!" he calls as he makes for the shelves at a run, sending a bolt of energy to glance weakly off Slardaziel's shoulder as he goes. Still, the priest is weakening visibly.
Despite the chaos of combat and injuries sustained the mad intensity of Magnus' stare never wavers and his fiery conjuration does not falter, instead its burning tendrils seemed to reach longingly for the wayward cleric. Magnus clutched at the spiraling serpent symbol that hung from his neck, his eyes were locked on Slardazial but his voice called out someone else.
She...bids you stand...again!
The air around the fallen Grakk pulsed and the space between life and death twisted as one door closed and another opened. Vitality rushed back into the massive barbarian's body. Magnus cackled madly then slips deftly away, out of Slardazial's reach.
Grakk's eye's open. Power, fuel by anger and rage, quickly flow through his body. As the fallen cleric is occupied by other allies, the goliath stands. Bringing his weapon back behind his head, cluctching his weapon with two hands, he roars a battlecry and then he swings down in a chopping motion, with the target being the back of the cleric's head. The cleric tries to turn and move, but he is too slow due to his bloodied condition. The weapon strikes the foe with explosive force. The sound of cracking skull rivits through the chamber, followed by a piercing scream of agony from the cleric. Blood pours down the face of the foe from the wound.
Grakk's revival and furious onslaught are distracting enough that Slardazial completely fails to notice Vixo skitter around and plunge a blade deep into where the kidneys would be on a living man, twisting the blade viciously as it comes out. Between Grakk and Vixo, foul black fluid seeps steadily from great rents in the undead cleric's body.
Kamotz chooses that moment to strike as well, landing a solid blow with his flail that widens the wound from Vixo's dagger just a moment before.
Vrrsk't tries to capitalize as well, but his blow comes down on the crosshilts of Slardazial's black blade.
More of the priest's flesh chars as he swings his heavy sword four times in rapid succession, wounding Grakk and Vrrsk't. He steps away from the flaming sphere, and when Vrrsk't moves to follow, he finds that shadowy tendrils have encircled him, gripping him tightly and preventing the movement.

Morvannon hits for 10 and runs.
Magnus heals Grakk and moves back.
Grakk stands up and hits for 29, bloodying Slardazial.
Vixo moves to flank and crits for 36. Ouch!
Kamotz uses righteous brand;
27 vs. AC hits for 10, and Grakk gets a +4 power bonus to attack rolls TENT (Kamotz). That triggers Sneak In the Attack, for another
7 damage.
Vrrsk't goes with holy strike again, but
15 vs. AC misses.
Slardazial takes
7 fire from the flaming sphere. He does a double attack against Vrrsk't and Grakk:
9 vs. AC misses Vrrsk't, 17 vs. AC hits Grakk for 7 damage. He spends an AP to do it again:
23 vs. AC hits Vrrsk't for 16 and 11 vs. AC misses Grakk. He shifts away from the flaming sphere, and tries grasping coils on Vrrsk't:
crit, too bad it doesn't do damage. But Vrrsk't is grabbed, and checks made to escape the grab take a -5 penalty.
