Gildrim nods with a kind of grim enthusiasm. "Aye, lots ay haly watter. Ah wis thinkin' that tay. Eneuch tae droun thaim!"

"Noo, ane - thaur's mair than ane stairway doun, but we teuk anely th' ane ay thaim. Mebbe th' ithers gae tae th' far side ay th' dead'uns, if ye ken whit Ah mean, but mebbe thay dinnae."

"Twa - if ane ay us can snaik in an' oot aneath th' view ay th' skelets, thaur's a healin' wand claucht in Karm's deid haund. It woud be worth havin' afair we hae tae fecht."

"If I recall the ritual, it should block you from all the undead's senses, so noise shouldn't be a specific issue. And so long as you make no contact with them, I think the warded people can walk right by, no need to worry about how the stairways are oriented."

At the mention of a wand, Weel's eyes light up. "Oh, I believe Phyrah's strength would let me use such a wand! Excellent, and it would make up for the healing powers I'd have to forego to hide two of us."

"Stealth, I guess that might be my trick, eh. Just for the record, i am better with locks and traps but still not bad. I am still in the learning phse of life, though."

Then Karl looks to Richard and chuckles, "Wake the dead, skeletons. Funny."

Gildrum Said said:
Sae he said cookin' pots, an' spades, an' fishheuks, an' shairpin stanes, an' pepper an' herbs tae spicen up thair meat.

"So, we are looking at holy water, cooking pots, spades, fish hooks, whet stones and cooking spices. right?"

"Guid! But th' skelet shreidit mah freends tae bits fester than th' wand coud heal thaim, sae we cannae howp tae rely oan it alane," Gildrim adds. "Speakin' ay wands, Ah dinnae suppose ony ay ye can cast th' - whit wis it, noo? - magic missile?"

"Thaur wis a dairt trap oan th' front duir ay th' hoose. We fund that th' haird way! An' Ah'm yet doutsome wha put it thaur," Gildrim says. "Mebbe th' auld awners, aw mebbe th' gresslowper men."
"So, we are looking at holy water, cooking pots, spades, fish hooks, whet stones and cooking spices. right?"
"Aye, but mebbe no aw ay thaim. A pot is nae sae easy tae cairy oan yer back throu a swamp! Nae sae easy as fishheuks! An' we widnae want tae spoil th' lizardfowk."

"Weel, we're gettin' somewhaur! Lat's see whit th' guid merchands ay Orussus hae tae offer."

Richard considers the possibilities... he begins to think out loud as the group heads towards the general merchant area of town.
"SO... if you cast that spell on me, I could get down there, get the wand, get it back to you and then go get in position to start beating on the big undead before the group got their attention... would that work?"
He sees it all in his mind, the glorious battle plays out clear as any bards-tale.

"Getting it to the swamp is easy as I have a mule to carry the heavy stuff. But if you are concerned that the lizard tribe might get spoilt to our gifts, then pleas by all means tell us what would be too much?"

"Aye, aye, coud wirk," Gildrim offers. "Thaur's a trick aw twa Ah hiv tay, as ye micht hae seen in Thorne's chaumers. That gaed... weel eneuch, didnae it?"

"Thay're a prood fowk, frae whit little Ah've seed. Thaur's a fine line atween offerin' a fair gift in freendship for a service, an' drylanders givin' th' puir gullion-wirms charity, an' seemin' tae be buyin' thaim, an' Ah'm nae sae shuir whaur it is," Gildrim says unhelpfully.

Weel bites his lip, clearly confused by all the possibilities.

"I'd hate to offend someone by giving too much or too little," he says nervously. "Maybe the fishhooks are the best bet then. Fishhooks, holy water. And then on to the swamp?"

Well, We could carry more, then if we require more of their services, then we could pay for that off of what we would already have. the Items do not sound too expensive, so the investment is really quit eminimal, it sounds.

"Noo, if ye dinnae mind, Ah'll jouk intae th' magic merchand's."
