It isn't difficult to find an entrance to the sewers on the north side of Daunton; the river delta carries all sorts of filth out to sea to the west, and there are drainage pipes emptying all along the shoreline. Finding your way through the dark, vermin-infested maze is a tedious and odiferous business, but this time, at least, it proves not terribly hazardous. At length Woe finds himself on uncomfortably familiar ground, and begins the process of looking for exactly which brick in the wall is illusory, covering the catch that opens the hidden door into Doddoddod's basement.

Perform well, and you will have my gratitude." The emphasis on the last two words remind you that he is a powerful and influential man, who does not give favors lightly.

He rings a small bell, and the door opens instantly, admitting the neatly-dressed servant, who wheels him out without another word. Another servant follows momentarily and shows you out. [/sblock]

Woe takes a creative shortcut – an idea that both will speed up the search and take care of his basic needs. All that rum has been building up in his system and is now more than ready for release.

With no warning to his companions, Woe drops his pants and relieves himself up against the wall, whistling merrily.

“Aaaaahh... That’s it, Woezilla. Make daddy proud.”

“Get those upper corners. Ooo, and the dire spider cobweb too! Good boy.”

After the initial shock it soon becomes apparent to his companions that he’s using the spray to search for the hidden compartment, and eventually Woe watches his liquid seep through an illusory brick.

“Aha, Woezilla is victorious yet again! ... And I certainly feel a gallon lighter.”

The warrior uses a twig or rod that he conveniently picked up on the way, to poke through the illusion and activate the hidden door to Doddoddod’s basement.

"What is it with you big people and your junk?! First, I got vampire-boss shoving his package in my face. Next, you're exposing yourself more than a priestess of the love goddess on Two-for-One Nights down at the local temple. *****!"

Woezilla quickly locates the illusory brick. The catch gives Woe some difficulty, being designed to be opened with fingers, not the end of a urine-soaked stick, but given the alternative, he persists and eventually manages it. A section of the wall swings forward into the sewers, opening into Doddoddod's cluttered basement.
