Callen moves up in front of their ally and employer to get a line of sight to the battle. Seeing his enemies grouped together, Callen targets the largest group of opponents with a scorching burst. It misses all but the claws who may or may not be affected.

Move: to L17
Standard:

crit (2d8=11) = 24 fire dmg

The wizard that until this point seemed like lacking any kind of energy, begins to chant in a low voice, without moving. As his chanting goes up, an arcane malestorm begins to form around him. He raises his hand up, and the mystical energies flow around it. Lightning crackles from it to the stone wall and the floor. By now his chant has become a fierce vociferation.
A sphere of lightning takes form in the wizard's hand, and with a quick sapping movement, he hurls it amidst the clustered enemies.
The ball explodes, hurting them all, specially the swarms of creatures!
But that is not all, there is still residual magical energies around the githyanki. He gathers the remaining energy and with his arcane words and gestures of his hands, it becomes a crystalline sphere of pure force.
Again, he hurls the ball towards the center of the foes, where it crashes with the swarm, and sends razor sharp blades of force which cut the nearby creatures as well.
After such an effort, Mri'thas leans back to the wall behind him, exhausted. His efforts well spent. The only enemies remaining are the fire creature, and a handful of centipedes.

Stdr: Shock sphere vs Claws 1 & 2 Swarm 1 & 2: 22, 25, 21, 20 vs ref for 15 dmg (10 more to swarms)
AP: Force Orb: 24 vs ref for 22 dmg to swarm 2, then 23, 31(crit, should take 19+1d6), 16 vs swarm 1, claw 1 and claw 2 for 13 dmg (added the 3 bonus from Kama'zer here, forgot to add them when rolling.)
**Ok. So Callen killed Claw 2. Shock Sphere hits the remaining three, and kills swarm 1.
Force orb almost finishes off the remaining swarm, but does finish the other claw.**[/sblock]
Montroya seeing his allies taking care of business moves to the far side of the room and calls out a challenge to the bat creature.
"Retreat or play the price. You are not a creature of nature, Apoli's light shall burn away your sins."

[sblock=Map Key]Lava hurts. It's going to hurt if you enter a square of lava.
Benches cost 1 extra square to enter. They provide partial cover if ducking down.
The ceiling is 12 feet up. The flamebat is flying, but do to the low ceiling is always in melee. You can share the same square without sharing the same space. [/sblock]
